 We are local Harbin expert who will give you some suggestions, currently Harbin top 1 hotel is the Rits-Carlton, Harbin hotel, it was open on 2021, during covid-19 period, but this hotel was build long time around 10 years, final finish, for live comfortable is best choice, the highest hotel in Harbin, you can see Songhua river, and winter time you can see ice festival hold place at ice and snow world, through window you can see clearly, it is best to view Harbin new city area, but transfer condition is not very convenient, only can call a car go everywhere in Harbin, close by no restaurant, it is not easy for walking, also in bus transfer circle, a little difficult to cross each street, not close attractions area, but if you have private car hire, the Rits carton hotel is best choice, prefer to walking a lot, not suggest to live this hotel.

 Harbin Holiday Inn is in Harbin city center just close by central street,  it is best location for walking, transfer, also close to Harbin subway line 2, you can take metro to Harbin ice and snow world directly, there is a stop that call Harbin ice and snow world(哈尔滨冰雪大世界), and Sun island snow sculpture has a stop call Sun island(太阳岛),the hotel is old hotel, it was open on 1996, new decoration on 2000, it is very easy to walk to zhongyang street, Saint Sophia Cathedral, stalin park, Songhua river, Songhua river cable car, live Harbin Holiday Inn, you can save some transfer payment, all Harbin classical attractions that you can go by metro/subway and walking to finish.

 Harbin Huate hotel (zhongyang street) also is good location to live for walking and transfer to others place, you can walk to central street, Sophia church, Songhua river, stalin park, cable car, take subway line2 if you can find subway, need to walk 15 minutes to metro line 2, then transfer to Harbin ice and snow world, sun island, these two attractions are easy to arrive by subway line 2, but Siberia tiger park, currently no subway to go, it is a little far from city center. You need to have private car, or take a taxi. If  go to Siberia tiger park get a taxi transfer to there will be easy, when you back will be trouble, not that easy, usually taxi will ask more money to back to city, cannot read meter, you are visitors, the taxi driver will charge they want.

 Harbin 5 stars hotel: Shangri-la hotels Harbin, there are two Shangri-la hotels, one is old one in Harbin old city in youyi road, it is convenient compare new Shangri-la hotel in Harbin new city area, old hotel is good, near foods street, if you have private car rent you can live everywhere in Harbin, no worry about locations, but some hotels cannot live, they do not open to foreign guests with passport, even you booked online but when you check into hotels, they will not allow you stay, just be careful some Chinese chain hotels with low price, you are better choice international hotels to live. when you arrive at Harbin hotels you booked online with lower price, hotels are not let you stay, you will have trouble to move and find new hotels, pay double price, even more on your arrive day.
